<p>I need to 4 quarters of language for my GE's I have the choice of LIFR !D/DX or LTFR 2A. How difficult is 2A from 1D and which one will I learn more from?

<p>Assuming you have this choice because you got a 3 on the AP exam, I can tell you from experience that you don’t learn anything new in 1D/1DX apart from some vocabulary. Grammar-wise, it’s a review of all the verb tenses you already learned for the AP exam.</p>

<p>Then you’ll be learning a lot in either class you choose. Your grasp of the language at this point is sufficient for either one. You can ask your current TA to find a copy of the syllabi for you if you want to see how the classes differ (because nobody takes both).</p>
<p>I took 2a. Relatively easy and I think 2a is what’s required to move higher</p>
