French

So is anyone really good at french? I've taken Spanish all my years of high school and I really like it and I just started learning French and I find that I really like it also. I decided I'm going to take Spanish 4 (they're taking the AP status away next year.....) and I'm going to try to test into French at the local college b/c our language classes are REALLY slow and no one takes them seriously.

Does anyone want to "tutor" me through texting? I feel it would be the easiest and most fun way of learning it.

Any takers? lol

I did the same thing but the other way around. The best thing you can do is buy yourself a grammar book (Schaum’s is the best), and cram vocabulary while listening to French music. I can answer any questions you have if you want over MSN, but I find texting in French tedious at best.

how much did the Schaum’s books cost? I went to the french teacher and she recommended it for grammar…but I need vocab also.

I was thinking about taking Spanish a 3rd year. Though I’m debating doing so would have me eliminate Human Anatomy as a potential elective of mines 12th grade. Plus, I think having the 2 year requirement should do for me. If I would like to advance in Spanish, I guess I would have to do so in college.
