<p>I was wondering how many classes a freshman usually takes? Do we have a wide variety of classes to choose from or are they required??</p>

<p>Depends totally on you major. Majors like business and liberal arts have much more freedom freshman year compared to the sciences and engineering (which is very laid out). What is your major.</p>
<p>well, i applied for the consumer & family sciences (hotel mgmt) although... cornell requires introductory business courses for their hotel mgmt. i guess i should've applied for krannerts, eh?</p>
<p>You will probably be taking basic accounting and managment classes, but im not sure about formal business accounting. If you could, you could even pursue a business minor with only a few extra classes (a lot of classes will cross over with your major or cound as gen eds).</p>
