Freshman 15

as much as i thought senioritis was fake and was for lazy dummies, OMFG ITS REAL. HOLY CRAP. freshman 15.... im inclined to believe this is also true, as the food at Yale almost makes my mind think im required to shove as much food into my mouth as possible at every meal of the day since it's all you can eat! the yale portal is open to us '13-ers now, and the menu makes me drool all the time (right now actually, korean barbequed pork chops for dinner?!?! OMFG!!)
so yeah, lol im worried. anyone else lookin forward to packin on some pounds?? lolol

Just resist the urge to add the Chinese take out to your speed dial — the local place got so many calls from my suite that they recognized our voices and knew our standard orders… sad but true.

Yeah… I found the food at the dining halls to be incredible! I’m really picky, and I would rather not eat at all than eat something that I mildly dislike. So… I end up skipping lots of meals if I can’t find anything I want (which might be why I’m so thin lol.)

At Yale though, I’ll have constant access to my favorite foods (hamburgers, hot dogs, turkey sandwiches and salad!!!) So that means I’ll probably eat every meal all the time. lol. Bring on the weight gain.

Oh, and I SO agree about thinking senioritis was just a lame excuse to be lazy, and then finding to my extreme shock that it is a completely real mental affliction.

hey, im a sophomore in highschool and im wanting to attend college at yale. i read about and want to apply for the early action plan but im still not sure. can anybody give me some advice and id like to know what its like attending yale. thanks!

academicfreak (lol), you should ask on the main yale forum they answer lots of questions about that and they have a lot of “CHANCE ME!!!” threads so you can ask there.
