<p>Did you by chance get the Jackie Robinson scholarship? I received an email about the Jackie Robinson scholarship and I am an URM (I assume you are also?). My teacher says its a good sign if you got the Jackie Robinson scholarship, but I am worried that they might of just sent it to every URM applicant.</p>
<p>It was for both the Freshman Alumni Scholarship and the Dr. Ralph J Bunche Freshman Alumni Scholarship. And yes i am a URM, I am mexican.</p>

<p>My D got the Jackie Robinson letter (which requires financial need, if I recall correctly) and was not admitted. I think she got an alumni one, and the “urm outreach” phone call appointment as well.</p>

<p>i got the confirmation email. it just reminded me about letters of rec which were already submitted</p>
<p>Yea, I just got an email that stated my app was received and they would send me a final confirmation when my recs are submitted. However, the recs were already submitted at the time I submitted my app and I never got a final confirmation that my file is complete.</p>

<p>The Alumni Scholarships are handled through the Alumni Association and have zero impact on your admission status.</p>
