<p>Is it still possible for me to be accepted to Columbia University with NROTC even with my first two years of high school? I attend a top college preparatory school in my area. Here is a list of some things I have done during my first two years:</p>

<p>Your EC’s are good but your academics aren’t quite that strong. However, anything is possible. Why is your GPA so low? You definitely need to bring that up and make sure you prepare for the SAT well in advance. Also, what field do you want to go into? For instance, if you wanna major in creative writing, enter a lot of writing contests to build up your resume. Or if you wanna do something science-related, work on an awesome research project or internship that will impress the admissions committee.</p>

<p>Sorry, kid, but I really doubt that GPA is gonna cut it for Columbia. Even if you get a 4.0 from here on out, they’re just going to think you weren’t pushing yourself during your first two years of high school. If it’s your dream, though, don’t let me discourage you - anything is possible…</p>

<p>I am wondering if the GPA is perhaps a typo? The GPA listed is far too low. You would need at least a 3.6 with everything else.</p>
