You just need to get your GPA up and start studying for your SAT/ACT. Everything else looks fantastic!

Do you know what your class rank is yet??? Your GPA from your freshman year is low, this year looks better but could still be improved. But your PSAT score is very good for a sophomore!!!
The best way to get in to A&M is to be in the top 10% of your class which would make you an auto admit. Your EC’s are impressive but are your grades suffering because you are too involved???
I am not sure how competitive your school is but just to give you an idea my D has a 3.8 GPA and has a class rank of 59/774 so top 7%… She has taken 3 pre/ap classes every year(now a senior)

Unfortunately, my school does not calculate class rank. Also, I do not live in Texas, so I would not be eligible for the Top 10% Admits according to the TAMU website, so I would have to either be admitted through the Academic Admits or the Review Admits.

Get your GPA up to a 3.5+ and get a 1900+ on the SAT and you should get in no problem.

EC’s are very good!

… Bump…

ajwilliams96, try attending one or more of the activities A&M offers for high school Jr/Sr’s. Go on an official tour of A&M - and make an appointment with the college of your first choice major and visit with them. Then if there is a prospective student center in your area, visit them as well. A&M is very interested in offering admission to students who show interest. You have good statistics and doing a few of these simple things can make a difference in admission. All these things are on the application to A&M. If you are able to put a few checks in the box it really does help.
