facts first:
i'm not a freshman. i will b next yr.

every1 talks about how freshmans r annoying...if u were to compare them to something, what would it be?

no offense, since everyone was a freshman once and will be a freshman once. i just want to know what kind of reaction i would get when i become one. :D

ohh...i see :D what would you compare the status of freshmans to? many ppl i know refer to them as 'flies that keep on showing off their stench'...hahah

I never had any problems as a freshman. My school is reception through 12th grade, everybody's been there for years so its nothing new- except switching buildings.

For the most part, freshmen are annoying because they try acting cooler than they are. Give it up, we all knew you only started puberty a year ago. Don't worry, we all went through it. That's why we hate it.

I especially like the "OMG I WAS A STRATE A STUDENT IN MIDDLE SKOOL NOW IM GETTING D'S!!!" kids.

what you should really know: acting cool doesn't make you cool. Understand that and you should be just fine... try to make some friends in your grade though because the upperclassmen eventually go away :(

i ran varsity track when i was a freshman so i was pretty much accepted by upperclassmen but in my experience most freshmen are cool but its the ones who think that they are cool that mess up for everyone and if your a girl just stay away from the juniors and seniors and you'll be fine... and another question, does this apply for freshmen in college??

1.) They complain a lot. Everything is new to them. As someone posted earlier, there's always those kids who "were straight As students in jr. high and now are getting Ds." I just want to say to them, grow up. We've all been there. You have resources available to you, use them. At my school, teachers don't spoon feed us. I'm not saying we're entirely independent, but if we want better grades, we need to give 150%. Come prepared with questions for the teacher. Study, Study, Study. etc.

2.) They get in the way. As a former freshman, I attest to that. They are the last to get things, as in to understand. They are so slow walking in the hallways. You just want to push through them and say, "Hey, I need to get to class. Why don't you move a little faster."

Now, you would think I hate freshmen. But, it's not true. I sympathize with them. Whenever one of my freshmen friends want to vent or get some advice, I'm willing to help them out. I know how hard freshmen year is. Everything is on full-drive.

Looking back on my freshman year, it's amazing how much you change in just one year. Freshmen are only annoying if they "get in the way" of things, or try to show off...or if they type "lyke dis." Sometimes they can act really immaturely without realizing it, and I can't really blame them for that, since it's not something they can help.

yeah freshmen change a lot in one year, but that's not to say that sophomores aren't annoying. the major reason: they realize they are no longer freshmen.

yeah freshman try to skip me in the lunch line all the time, I'm just like "excuse me?" they get this expression on their face that tries to make me believe that they should be there.

I was one of those "I got As in middle school, but now I'm getting Bs and doing bad!" freshmen. (Fortunately I didn't drop to Ds... but a C once or twice) I always blamed it on my teachers and how it was their fault for being bad teachers. Which wasn't the case.

Yeah, freshmen do clog up the halls... and the ones who think they already own the school are even more annoying. I think they try too hard to fit in now that they're in high school. They just went from the top (8th grade) back to the bottom (9th).

Yes, they're not really mature. Example: while using a urinal, a couple threw a ball of wet paper towels at my head. Luckily, it was only water, otherwise I'd be on the news and they'd be in the ground.

I can't stand freshman...they make our school look even worse than it already does and their hallway smells like pi.ss and fecal matter...unfortunately the math wing is on the freshman hall...and it really ticks me off when they just stop in the middle of the hallway and hold a conversation when ppl are trying to get to class...ughh...I SWEAR we didn't act like that when we were freshman (class of 06)...it's a sign of the times I guess...
