I am looking at my student profile in bearfacts and i have 2 questions

-under term status, and registration, it says NOT REGISTERED. is there something wrong?

-under Undergraduate requirements, it says i have not satisfied the american history and institutions requirement although i definitely did in high school.

just wondering if other freshman see the same thing, or if something is wrong and i need to call, because i did, but no one picked up. thanks

For the second question, Berkeley is kinda slow in updating; my AP scores aren't even on Bearfacts.. My AH&I requirement is definitely fulfilled as well but it hasn't shown up.

Don't worry you have 4 years to complain to Berkeley.

As regards undergrad requirements: I called admissions and was told that each student's incoming classes are reviewed individually by the admissions office to determine which classes will be accepted for university credit and then the accepted classes will be forwarded on to the student's college and the college will then decide whether the accepted credits will fulfill requirements for graduations from the college. I was told this could take until the end of October.

Let's see. I've been enrolled at Cal since Spring 07. I finished most of my requirements before I started classes.

I went in to talk to L&S about some class snafus and the fact that a class I know was AC-certified (assist.org) had not, actually, satisfied my AC as far as BearFacts was concerned. The dean told me that it did indeed satisfy it, but Admissions was slow to update BearFacts.

I'm going into Fall 2008 and it -still- says AC is unsatisfied.

Moral of the story: BearFacts does not always reflect reality.

If you're unregistered it does NOT mean you haven't paid 20% of your fees yet. I was REGISTERED before I paid for anything. You're probably missing some files or documents. E-mail the admissions advisor for any of your questions.

P.S. If your minimum amount due is $0.00, it means your financial aid/calgrant already took care of it.
