<p>Does anyone know anybody who was offered admission to the spring semester and freshman connection rather than the normal fall admission?
What kind of scores/characteristics about an applicant admits them for spring semester and not fall?</p>

<p>my best friend who graduated in 2011 was admitted to freshmen connection. she was a great student, 4.1 GPA W, tons of ECs and leadership positions and a 1790 SAT score.
she said she loved FC and despite what people say about being “off campus,” she said that she still felt and was part of the UMD community.</p>
