Well, it seems like like many of those considering AU were coming to the Freshman day. I probably saw many of you there, but of course I didn’t recognize you. This year’s Freshman Day at AU was the largest they ever had with about 1500 people I believe. The honors overnight the day before leading into the freshman day had about a 150 students there when the previous record was 96. Personally, I thought my honors overnight was much more helpful than the freshman day because I got more chances to talk to students not vetted by the administration and have less of my day occupied by presentations from gleeful administrators.

What was your experience like if you came to the freshman day or honors overnight?

I think both guys and girls were gravely disappointed in physical qualities of the opposite sex, haha.

Anyhoo, I thought the overnight was tons more helpful and fun than the freshman day, mainly because they talked about the same thing (they just took the word "honors" out in freshman day) and the overnight was less hectic and more relaxed.
