<p>some of the dorm rooms are on the small side. That said, obviously you would not be the first freshmen at W&M (or in the USA) to live in a small dorm room, so they are big enough.</p>
<p>If your dorm room, you will probably be at your desk or on your bed. You don’t really need space for much else. You are not going to set up a table and chairs; if you need that you can walk down the hall to a lounge to study or play cards or whatever.</p>
<p>For clothes… you have a small closet, and a solid sized dresser. There is plenty of room unless you are going to try to bring multiple months worth of clothes.</p>
