Freshman Dorm for Gay Guy?

I really want to be able to have my own private bathroom (only available at Jester, San Jac, and off-campus private dorms). I also want to be in a dorm where I can be comfortable being myself. I want a dorm that has cool people in it who like to go out and have fun but also will not be up at 3 AM on a Tuesday making noise when I'm trying to sleep for my 9 AM class.

I'm pretty sure Dobie is the right place for me - I've heard a lot of Dobie residents are gay guys and it's a very nice dorm. Towers seems rather grungy and party-crazy and Castilian's rooms are kinda small compared to Dobie. Any thoughts? I don't want to go live in "the gay dorm" and be sheltered from the real world, but I also want to make sure I'm somewhere safe.

You would be right at home at Dobie. It is sort of grungy, but everything's clean and the walls seem pretty thick--I don't think much noise would seep in.

I read the COLLEGE PR0WLER section on Dorms at UT today and it really painted Castilian as the off-campus winner. While the rooms are smaller per my observation, many students said that it was very social, has the best food by far, and is a great place to spend freshman year. I am worried that although I want an accepting roommate/environment in my dorm, I don't really want what seems to be an overwhelming international/minority environment (at Dobie). Would a not-as-liberal-as-others-but-still-liberal gay guy be alright at Castilian? I hear they have a good roommate matching service.
