<p>This is GA2012MOM's daughter. I was looking at the Penn application, and I couldn't find a word limit for the essays. I'm doing the 'page 217 of your autobiography' prompt. Should I keep it at a page, or would a few sentences onto a second page be acceptable as well?

<p>on the common app the pg 217 essay is optional and below it there's a caption that says:
"Do not exceed 1 page"
so yeah, 1 page</p>
<p>Thanks Zha000, D is using the Penn app and didn't see that there, but she is going to cut a few sentances just to be safe.</p>
<p>Don't be afraid to fiddle with other stuff if you can't fit it all in; one of my friends from last year had his Why Penn essay with 0.3 margins and single spaced 10 point Times New Roman with 1500 words total or summat. He got in :D</p>
