SU is notorious for greatly decreasing financial aid after freshman year. ii believe they are among the worst offenders of traditional universities… the stats are available in common data sets as well as others. if you are borderline unable to afford freshman year it will get worse as you advance. most poor kids dont wish to abandon their new friends so they borrow more or scramble to pay their bill. the financial aid officers are Not sympathetic beings.
