Freshman foccused on harvard

hi, i am a freshman in high school what can i do to help me get into harvard besides ggod grades and test scores??

Why are you so interested in Harvard? In other words, what do you like about it based on what you know about it?

why are people freaking out about harvard in their freshman year of highschool? CHILL OUT PEOPLE!

if you really want to get into Harvard, visit the admissions office often with cookies and tasty foods

Easy for you to say now that you're in.

I kid, I kid. How's Harvard going for you?

Have your mother drag you into the admission office, and force you to speak with the Deen.
[I heard someone did that before, and got in!]

But anyway, might want to pay more attention in Language Arts. And if your Asian, you best get workin' on your EC's.

Be yourself. Sincerely :) I am not in Harvard, I'll only apply next year, but I think it is important for you to do what you like. Don't build yourself any fake interest or quality. High school is the place where you learn a bit about who you are everyday, so don't loose yourself in any pattern.

Think about it: if, because of some unfortunate events, you were waitlisted or rejected, you would have ended up building a fake personality during 4 years for nothing.

Just pursue your interests, be ambitious and never let someone stand in your way. You'll get the best out of it :)

Good advice, and by the way the advice I have heard from Harvard admission officers at public meetings. Good luck in your application next year.

chill bro, i asked the same question yesterday.
u got a long way to goooo
just get good grades and a part time job.
take all ap’s too

Freshman in high school? Do some research first. Harvard is not the cure-all that everyone seemingly expects it to be. There a lot of other great schools that offer the same sort of liberal arts education that Harvard, Princeton, and Yale offer.

Ever heard of the University of Chicago? The education there, I hear, is extremely rigorous. Plus, they have some of the best math departments in the country. Prestigious, but very underrated. Consider it.

Why exactly do you want to go to Harvard besides prestige?

I think many people apply to Harvard on the basis of its prestige alone. (I was one of those people, and I was soundly rejected.)
