Okay, so how is the food at the Marketplace? Can Freshmen eat anywhere else for dinner?

Well, the MP is now operated by a new company, so I hear there have been major improvements, so I'll let new freshmen comment on the quality of this year's food.

You're certainly not obligated to eat there every night. The meal plan includes Sunday-Thursday dinner, so friday and saturday you have free to eat wherever. You can also choose to eat anywhere on a regular night, but it will deduct from your food points (which is used for things like lunch and whatnot).

I don't know...I personally find I'm missing the structure of breakfast/dinner at the marketplace. Once you get to West Campus you have ONLY food points, so it's harder to find healthy food for someone like me:(

i replied in the other thread.

I know! Gah, my only saving grace right now is that I have to walk all over campus all day, so at least I'm burning some of that (TONS AND TONS OF) fat.

UGH I've been making like, TWO harris teeter runs a week. I eat mostly in my room except for maybe 1 meal/a smoothie/fro-yo. Everything you buy out is either loaded with dressing/cheese/cream, or comes in ginormous proportions.

Then there's the Great Hall, which, IMHO has been sufficiently destroyed. That's about all i have to say about THAT.
