Freshman Free Football Tickets Help?

FlashingDots: Did you cancel ALL the charges? Or are you leaving 1 charge? (<--perhaps they charged you because you were able to buy a ticket)

?

yea i called and they told me the charges wouldnt go through. also that they didn't have a record for me purchasing anything, meaning that after all that i still didn't get the tickets. sad day!

chumphree, did you get an email confirmation from cal? bc i did and im hoping that that isnt an accidental red herring

I got an email purchase confirmation from Cal, and I think you will only be charged once if you get to that final screen "Thank you for your purchase" etc.
I don't think you get charged for failed attempts to reach that screen.

i wish!!!!

I called-up the Cal Ticket office and asked whether the two tickets could be added on. They said to send an e-mail to ato@berkeley.edu. The subject line of the e-mail should be "Freshman Free Ticket Upgrade" and the message should ask for the tickets and contain the student's name and ID number

OMGOGM yeah mine were upgraded!!!! i'm so happy!!!!

Really? Did you send them an email? I haven't gotten a response back yet.

yeah i sent them an email yesterday and then i randomly checked my email because of the post before me and i saw this:

Greetings from Bear Territory!

Your Freshman Free tickets were upgraded today to the full 7 game
season
Freshman Tickets. A charge of $32 will be assessed to the credit card
that you used to charge the original 5 games on. Thank you for your
support of Cal Athletics and welcome to Cal!

My son received a response that he received the upgrade. Did your e-mail include the Subject line that this was for the "Freshman Free Ticket Upgrade" ? Did your e-mail also include your name and your I.D. number? I'm going to guess that their office receives a ton of e-mails so if the request is in a different format, it may take longer to process.
