I’m a bit worried about this. I’m a homeschooled junior. Freshman year I got Bs in English and Speech. I also don’t have any math credit from freshman year. We’d just moved and I was suffering from depression and culture shock. (We’d just completed two very draining years living overseas.) I’ve had straight As since. I’ve pretty much caught up in math and am planning on taking precalc this summer. I also have As in community college English courses and regularly place in extracurricular speech. Will a few Bs on my transcript hurt my admission to top colleges very much?

Anyway a lot of schools give liitle or no consideration to Freshman grades. BTW, my daughter had a B through every year of H.S., and was accepted into many top schools.</p>
