I know most universities dont require freshman grades. But some do. For the ones that require it, how would i give them my freshman grades. U see after 9th i moved out of country so i cant get the report card. Plus, i heard school has to officially send transcripts. How does that work? Can one school send another schools transcripts officially?

Actually MOST universities DO require freshman year grades. The ones I know of that do not are the UCs and Princeton. To send those grades you need to contact your HS from your freshman year and ask them to send the transcript. If your current school validated your freshman year info they might be able to send everything. Talk to your GC. They must have run into this before.

Contrary to what you mention, almost all colleges require you to submit freshman grades. Some of them may not rely on them for admission but they usually still require them to be submitted. Even the small number that don’t require them to be submitted for determining admission do require a transcript showing the grades as a condition to allowing you to enroll after being admitted.

Thus, you will likely need to get a transcript from the foreign school it it is possible to get one. If that is not possible, check with the colleges to which you intend to apply. Many allow alternative submissions in those situations such as your self-reporting the grades, getting some letter from a school official confirming courses and grades, or accepting whatever verfication of grades you provided to your current high school to show completion of freshman year.
