Ok, I'm a junior now and my 10th grade GPA was something like 98 weighted, and this year about 101 weighted....but the problem is in ninth grade I had like 2 Cs 2 Bs and 3 As.....I took the most difficult classes available in that school and I think some might have been 1.05 wieghted but I don't know. I think my GPA from 9th grade must have been around 90 or lower. Anyway my question is, how will this factor in to my chances of getting into/getting academic scholarships to medium level schools like Ole Miss/Michigan/USC? It probably makes a difference that in 9th grade I went to a different HS (moved) than I do now. I have a 34 ACT (first try) and will find out my SAT tomorrow, which will probably be ~1500. My only EC are Adacademic Decathlon, and one year of JV tennis (I should have been varsity this year, but the two coaches have some kind of grudge against me or something...) and I'm thinking about doing Mu Alpha Theta next year. So what does everyone think?

Nice SAT, Nice ACT, Good enough EC, Sports involvement, great sophomore and Junior year.

Don't really see a problem.

HEY TAKE A CHILL PILL!!!! you showed GREAT improvement and your stats say data. Geez..colleges love upward trends. you sure look like a very good candidate. i wouldnt worry. most colleges know that freshman year is adjusting. me? i had a 4.5 GPA with a bad freshman year..around a 3.4 weighted..but managed to make an impressive upward trend.
