<p>Has anyone got letter from Purdue recently about the honors program? Can anyone explain to me what it is more deeply than letter?</p>
<p>basically, you will be able to enroll in special seminar courses and have some opportunities throughout the year that other students do not have. I think you may be required to fulfill more rigorous course requirements, but I'm not sure on that because I am in the College of Ag. My good friend who is in that program has a faculty mentor for research, and I think that may be related to the honors program, but, again, I am not certain. Congratulations, though :)</p>

<p>wow. this honors program is making me really reconsider purdue a lot more again. it sounds pretty cool and only 140 freshman a year. anybody got any more detailed info on it? thanks!</p>
