<p>So I sent my deposit in at the end of December, and I was under the impression that UM would send me my housing information (that i would have to fill out) once they got the deposit.
When do they usually send the housing info to freshmen? Has anyone received theirs yet?</p>
<p>I believe those go out sometime in the Spring, all at the same time regardless of when you submitted your deposit. Submitting the deposit early doesn’t have any effect on when you get to apply for housing.</p>

<p>Really, any dorm will be fine freshman year. No matter where you are, you will be surrounded by a ton of people. Each dorm has good and bad parts. Pretty much anywhere besides north campus is where you want to be</p>
