<p>I got the email from UCLA about my housing, and I think it would be fun to discuss what dorms we got and have any students or alumni give any input about the different dorms! </p>
<p>I got a triple (mixed feelings) in Rieber Hall. Anyone know about Rieber, how is it? What dorm did you get? </p>

<p>S got a double in Rieber Hall. Did you request a triple or a double? He was a little disappointed thinking it is farther up the Hill but it was renovated in 2010 so hopefully it is decent. The restaurant Feast is located there. It is supposedly tasty Asian themed dining.</p>
<p>@Minnymom I requested a double, but triple was my second choice. I don’t mind too much though. Anyone know if Rieber is good for freshmen?</p>

<p>Well we all got halls, good thing! So many people on the UCLA facebook group have been getting suites and plazas, which are more expensive and not as good for freshmen.</p>
<p>Can’t agree more. Halls are a lot more social.</p>
<p>I got a triple in Rieber Vista with a shared bathroom. Does anyone know what Rieber Vista’s like? How is it for freshman? I’m really excited now :)</p>

<p>Hehe except for me! I got a triple in de neve plaza, which was surprising since I believe that was my second to last choice. I did some research, and it’s not that bad (I’m kinda glad, actually). It was renovated recently, so it’s really nice to live in. Plus it’s close to everything, and known to be the most social of the plazas. AC and a bathroom that isn’t gross are pluses too 
Res halls were my first choice simply because of the social factor. In retrospect that was pretty silly since there’s more than one way to make friends, and I really can’t stand the living conditions in res halls.</p>
