Freshman Housing Park-Stradley/Steeb

I was admitted early action with the National Buckeye Scholarship and I sent the $100 commitment check about a week ago.

I definitely want to be on South Campus and have heard that Steeb and Park-Stradley are the best dorm halls. Is this true?

Also, how likely is it that I will get a room at these halls? If its not too likely, where else is decent and where should I avoid?

Thanks for any help.

You’ve probably already gotten an answer already, but I Park-Stradley and Smith-Steeb are definitely the best in my opinion. They are 2 of the 3 newly renovated south campus dorms. I’m not sure how likely you are to get a room in these halls (I also really want to get into them), but I hear that Siebert is also nice cause it’s the other newly-renovated hall.

How is housing priority determined? Application date? Acceptance date? Some sort of housing registration date? Something else?

You get the housing application in the order in which the university received you deposit and I believe housing is based on the order in which send in the application
