Daughter has been accepted at MSU and is wondering about housing. Looks like several dorms are being remodeled for upcoming year. Any information about the various sections of campus housing would be great. From what we can find out online, one area of campus houses primarily Honors and Learning Communities. We toured school back in April, but it was such a long time ago the dorms are hazy.

Here are a couple of links with some reading for you:
[Your Guide to Living on the Campus of Michigan State University | Campus Living Services](http://liveon.msu.edu/) - in particular, the “Future Students” tab
[New for Fall 2011 | Campus Living Services](http://liveon.msu.edu/newsandevents/fall2011) - information on what’s changing in the fall

Honestly, it doesn’t much matter. If you’re in a residential college or honors housing, then your limited to a certain dorm. Otherwise, you’re pretty much in a raffle.

IIRC, there is some substance-free housing you can choose though.

Thank you both for your replies. I will have her check out the links to housing.
