Has anyone received housing or orientation material yet?
Housing information will be sent out mid-March, depending how early you paid your acceptance fee. (I just went on a tour last Saturday).
Do you guys think it would be difficult to get a single room with an A.C and bathroom as a freshman? Or even a room with 2 people and A.C. and bathroom?
@globalthinker It’s kinda hard, but not impossible (speaking from experience as a freshman currently in a single)
How do you know if your housing application is all done and set?
My son got an email confirming the receipt/completion of his housing contract.
When did he complete it?
He completed it last Saturday evening (3/19) and received a confirmation email on 3/21.
Did you pay with a credit card or with a check and mail. Since I’m under 18 I had to mail my check and contract in.
Credit card.
@globalthinker I would recommend not having a single as a Freshman. It will very difficult to get one but they also make it harder to meet people on campus. With transitioning to campus and college life, at least for me, it would have been very tempting to remain in my own private place. With the sophomores living on campus next year, my guess is that all the singles are gone anyway.
What are the chances that any freshman would get placed into Scott or Raney on North campus?
@mower2016 Raney is all freshmen for next year except the suites, everyone wants Scott next year (I’ll be there thankfully) so there’ll be some spots for freshmen but not many. Play the percentages and try to get Raney
Do housing contract come out in batches? Weekly, monthly…
When to expect housing contract if I paid my acceptance fee early March?
