Freshman in an upperclass dorm?

I'm going to a freshman at a mid-sized State U (~9,000 UG, ~13,000 total) next year, and I got assigned to a great dorm (recently constructed, private room and bathroom, etc.). The on;ly sticking point is that its an upperclassman dorm (sophmores and up). Will this be a huge barrier to meeting people? I'm not a party girl, but I'm very involved in stuff.

apparently its not an upper-classman dorm any longer.

do you think that other freshman might be in the dorm, seeing as you got assigned to it?

Nah, it's a special circumstance because of my physical disability. Can't walk, but I do get first choice of dorms. ;)

you should be fine. You will miss out a little bit on the whole freshman hall bonding thing, but if your involved in other things you shouldn't have a problem.

If you're not a party girl, this may be for the better. You're more likely to find people who take their stuff seriously and get involved in better ECs in an upperclass dorm.
