Hi, I currently am Freshman and go to a community college in California but plan to transfer in the spring to ASU. I only have two classes and while I have an A in one class, I am almost certain to fail the other. I was wondering if it is possible to apply as a Freshman with no college experience and to just forget my credits from my community college. I want to do this because I am almost certain that I will not be accepted with a failing grade on my transcript. I don't mind losing the credits either. Thank you in advance for your help.

You may be a freshman applicant, but you will have to send that transcript.

Go see your advisor, and find out if you can still drop that class. If not, pay a visit to the professor and find out what to do to pull that grade up.

So i can’t apply as if i never went to community college?

Whenever you apply to a college, either as a fr or transfer, you need to submit transcripts from any college coursework. Here is where colleges look to see if you have attended college previously:

Take a W in the class, not the best thing to have on your record, but better than a F.
