Freshman Leadership Living

I have gotten information about Aggie Access Learning Communities and the TAMU Leadership Living Learning Community. I have already applied to the Modular dorms on the northside and I was wondering if I should consider these programs. I am going to do work study and join at least one club I can really devote my time to. Is there anybody who has participated in these programs or know anybody that has? If so, could you tell me about the experience and if these programs are beneficial? Will I have time to join a club, study my butt off, do work study, and have some time to myself if I join one of these communities? Are the dorms that community members stay in nice? Any help would be great :)

Howdy!
I lived in Lechner my freshman year, and am planning on living in Clements in 2008-09.
I'm not sure what the Aggie Access Learning Community entails (I didn't do it), but I'm here to give you a huge nudge towards Lechner (where I live now, until the end of the semester). It's different from all the other dorms. We're a close-knit, friendly group of kids who, for the first eighteen years of our lives, felt a little awkward because we were always "the smart one." Now, we can come have the time of our lives together, because we understand each other. Lechner is specially designed to be a good experience for honors freshmen, so I highly recommend it.
Clements is supposedly also very good. I heard that they're going to have a freshman community there for the first time next year, so you might look into that, too.
Best of luck to you; I'm sure you'll love whatever you pick! Thanks and gig 'em!
