Freshman one-off expenses

<p>Hey, I was just wondering what one-off expenses an entering freshman would occur.(not including tuition and housing)</p>

<p>Examples: Insurance (to my knowledge, currently $950) and textbooks.</p>

<p>Could anybody list anymore expenses?</p>

<p>FYI, I will be attending the business school, can someone give me a cost estimate of textbook costs?</p>

<p>Can I buy them second-hand?</p>

<p>Some clubs cost a small nominal fee to join I believe, and if you are going to rush, being in a frat costs money.</p>
