was wondering if freshman have separate orgo lab sections that weren't listed on ACES under 151L9. For the lecture/recit, they had the freshman section in a separate category under 151L, but I don't see it on 151L9.

Freshmen are in separate labs (because your lab relates to what you're learning that week in lecture). If you look under the freshman section of Chem 151L, there's 5 labs that are reserved for freshmen.

um, under freshman orgo, it has 5 "LABS" with an R in the class code. I thot that stood for recitation.

I looked at the Duke Chemistry site and it says this....

Registration for Chem 151L.003 involves selecting one of the following recitation sections listed in ACES under Chem 151L.003: 13L, 33L, 43L, 63L, or 73L. Following selection of a recitation section, ACES will automatically add the lecture section, Chem 151L.003. To complete your registration, you now need to register SEPARATELY for a lab section found under Chem 151L9 in ACES and numbered between 11L and 75L.

That's why I asked if freshman are still in separate chem labs because it appears that freshmen are now lumped with upperclassmen in labs and that you have to register for a lab section separately.
