<p>Other than the one day FTCAP program, is there freshman orientation prior to the start of the fall semester?
Also, Has anyone done the ORION orientation or the Urban Service Experience program orientation in the summer?</p>

<p>The first weekend that you move in you’ll do some set first-year programs with your RA. They are mandatory but you don’t HAVE to attend. I would recommend participating, they really help you meet new people. The first week of class is termed “Welcome Week” and the University will have events/programs targeting new students that you can attend.</p>
