“UCSB Freshman Orientation Reservations - system opens for reservations on May 13, 2009”

[Reserve Your Space in an Orientation Session](http://www.sa.ucsb.edu/orientation/FreshmanOrientation/ReserveYourSpaceinanOrientationSession.aspx)

Should we go to fall orientation even if we’re doing FSSP?

thanks man that was perfect answered all my issues lol

and about the FSSP i have no clue what that means sry.

Sure! and I think I just go to the FSSP orientation…can anyone verify that for me?

FSSP=freshman summer start program (summer school for freshies)

Yes. FSSP-ers have a special orientation session that’s just for them… it’s right before the program actually starts, so people from, say, SF or LA don’t have to drive to UCSB once for orientation and another time for the start of FSSP.

If I remember correctly, that’s the reason that you start eating at Carrillo for the first week or so - because it’s open for the later orientation people and also the Family Vacation Center visitors (UCSB rents out rooms in Manzanita to UCSB alumni during the summer).

Oh, and if you didn’t know it already, you’re not really going to have a choice in where you’re going to eat during FSSP - I remember that either DLG was open, or Ortega was open. I learned to really dislike Ortega during the time we were forced to eat there… but that’s another story.
