<p>Other than the one day FTCAP program, does Penn State have a freshman orientation prior to the start of the fall session? I am looking for information on the web and don't see anything about it. </p>

<p>Not really. Freshmen move in a day or sol earlier than the uperclassman. That first weekend has a ton of orientation type programs that freshman go to with their RA or with their academic college but nothing is mandatory. The rest of the week, Welcome Week, has some additional orientation type activities for new students.</p>
<p>Check out ORION. Not your typical freshman orientation though.</p>
<p>Students accepted into the Schreyer Honors College have a more traditional orientation with SHO Time. I don’t know about other cases, sorry :(</p>
