Hi, I was looking over the course catelogue and deciding what classes to take freshmen year
i am currently thinking about premed
so i was wondering what are the typical classes freshmen take if they are premed
thanks in advance

PS: i'm thinking about: expo 20, math 23 or 25, LS1a and maybe an econ course fall 09

Premeds generally take math 19, not 23 or 25.

I plan on taking LS1a, Expos 20, Neurotoxicology (FS), and Spanish Aa in the fall semester
and LS1b, PS1, Neurophysiology of Visual Perception (FS) or Math 19a, and Spanish Ab in the spring.

I suppose the typical science/math classes for freshmen premeds to take are:
LS1a
LS1b
PS1
Math 1b/19a/19b

But this is all speculation…

i’ve been reading up on the requirements on harvard’s ocs guide
it says that premeds need:
1 yr inorg chem
1 yr org chem
1 yr bio
1 yr phyiscs
1 english
1 yr math

they also gave some courses that fill the requirements
i was wondering if anyone’s taken those course and how time consuming/difficult they are
specifically: chem 17 and 27, MCB 52,54 and physics 15ab?
also how do premeds schedule all these requirements into 3 years?
finally, do any freshmen seminars count towards the english requirements?

thanks in advance
