Freshman PSAT Score?

Alright I just got my PSAT in freshman year back. I got a 155, ehhh. 57 on Critical Reading 44 on Math(bombed it) and 54 on Critical Writing. Immediately after my class took the PSAT we started prep classes during lunch with one of the teachers. I'll be doing this prep class until PSAT in junior year. Then I will be doing an SAT prep course. How much can these scores improve? Especially the math is what I'm concerned about. And how good is this for a freshman?

You have plenty of time for tremendous improvement. Practicing and studying will help, but don’t over emphasize the importance of this test in your life, especially this year and even next year. Keep up with your grades and your outside interests and hobbies. Develop yourself as a leader and get involved in your community. Freshman year is really too soon to focus on standardized testing for college.

I don’t fully agree^. I would familiarize yourself with the test and get involved with vocab. Just learn a vocab word day and get yourself in a routine. There’s nothing wrong with doing the SAT prep during lunch w/ your teacher. I would encourage it (as long as you’re still eating lunch). Of course focus on other aspects of your life too. Find hobbies you enjoy and find your passions. Focus on school. I’m sure you’re probably doing fine in school, but just continue with it :D. You’re around average for college bound seniors. You can definitely improve a lot.

Wow thanks guys for replying and yeah I’m on the schools track team and Model UN. I’m also in this community service hour thing. And by the way it’s just Tuesdays and Fridays for prep classes.
