<p>Are freshman students allowed to bring a car to campus even if they plan to dorm?</p>
<p>My neighbor wasn’t. He had a car and all but they said he couldn’t have it til atleast his 2nd year UNLESS he was staying with someone away from the school, like a relative, friend. Not an off campus apartment though. I mean an actual apartment that the school doesn’t provide.</p>
<p>If you’re from somewhere far (like Canada) or have other reasons, sometimes you can have a car; otherwise, no.</p>
<p>Also, you can’t live off-campus as a freshman OR a sophomore, unless you have bizarre personal circumstances, fyi.</p>
<p>No, only upperclassmen can have cars (so no sophomores, either–though you might be able to get an upperclassman to lie for you and give you their spot).</p>
<p>Even people from local areas aren’t allowed to have cars as underclassmen</p>
