Freshman Ross Hopeful schedule

I've decided that I'm going to try for Ross and apply next (freshmen) year.

For my first semester I'm thinking something along the lines of

Calc I
French (some class)
Freshman Writing
Astronomy (some class)

And take Econ in my 2nd.

Is admissions looking more for academic rigor or just good grades in your schedule? How about workload? I know other factors like work experience and ec's play a role, but for now I'm focusing on my schedule.

It’s the same concept as LS&A admission. They look at everything and view it using a holistic process. They’re not allowed to use a formula since the Supreme Court decision. All things being equal, a more rigorous schedule will be viewed more favorable than a less rigorous schedule but a higher GPA is better than a lower GPA.

I think most of the Ross candidates take Econ first semester but I don’t know for sure.

I think your schedule by and large looks OK.
