Freshman schedule- yay?

how fresh- another scheduling thread!
well, this is my tentative schedule for fall. I haven't registered yet, but since I'm honors, I'm hoping to get first dibs on Freshman classes. (That's what they said... I dunno how true that is.) So, tell me what you think: Is it too easy? I know it won't be very difficult. I've taken pretty much only subjects I'm interested in, for the first semester, so I can get used to college life. Should I try to add on another class to Friday, or leave as-is?
Thanks :)

lol I don’t get to pick my classes until I get to campus in September =[

Yeah that does look pretty easy though. What are you thinking for your major?

Does that schedule put you on schedule to graduate on time? If it does then go for it, if not add whatever you need to. Friday is the best day to have a light load on so you’re golden there, I wouldn’t change that. The only thing I’d possibly change would be moving either Modern/Contemporary or Russian Revolution to MW or MWF if possible, since you have no lunch break on those days and you’re stuck in class from 9:30 to 4 on Tuesday. You will hate tuesdays.

My schedule is awesome. I sprung for morning classes, and with the exception of one (which students in my major were automatically placed into), mission accomplished. I’m done every day by 12, and am done on Fridays at 10. (Except for this 3:30 class on TR that is required, though it sounds like a pretty basic class)

I’d kill myself with that many writing intensive classes :)

He has a 1:45 break on Tuesday.

Even with the break, it’s still being there for a long time. Unless you live on campus? That might not be too bad  If these classes are all general education I think it looks like a pretty interesting schedule. Just make sure you’re not giving yourself courses you do not need to graduate.

This looks like a good first semester schedule(after all, philosophy and psych. are two common gen. ed. classes that you probably need anyway). Second semester might need to be a little more in-depth as you start thinking about science and math classes. Personally as someone who’s not a fan of science I wouldn’t want to give myself any sciences first semester either. You can’t procrastinate too much though, you might start getting in trouble with classes that are only offered certain semester or years. Just ask your adviser what they think about that, and they should be able to offer you pretty good advise about where you should be :D

Oh, but don’t forget about your English classes! If you didn’t test out of them you’ll most likely need basic English classes as part of your general education curriculum, and more than likely you’ll need to take these in your first two semesters. I didn’t, but I kinda regret that I did. Those classes might even be a pre-req. for your literature class.

Yeah, I’m on schedule. I’m actually ahead of schedule, as that gives me 18 credits rather than the usual 16.
I’m probably an English degree, possibly majoring in PR or something along that line. It’s a liberal arts school, so I actually only have one required math that I’m probably not taking until later.
and yeah, Mod/Contemp. Lit is one of the required englishes. They don’t really do English 101 or whatever, it’s just a couple of classes you have to take for english. (mod/contemp. lit, Ancient lit, etc.)
My AP scores pretty much just give me a LOT of extra hours without actually giving me credit for anything core, which kind of sucks. So really, I’m starting off college with most of my freshman hours already completed.
I’m taking BIO 101 next semester, because I can’t fit it around anything this semester. (and the two classes to be moved: they can’t be. It’s a small school, which means if you move something, it’s stepping on the toes of something else.)

I forgot about all that writing.
bloody hell, that’s going to be fun.
Thankfully, Russian Rev. is a half-semester course, which frees up that block around midterms, which will be nice.
And it is going to be a long day on Tuesdays… but I live on campus, so I’ll probably just grab a bite at the cafe and take it to class.
thanks :)

Seems easy and good.

thanks for the input :)
