Hi, I am scheduling for my first year of college. I wonder if it's too hard.
My advisor keep telling me that schedule is too hard ;

Calculus 1
Physics : Mechanics
Physics lab
General Chemistry 1
Chemistry lab
Rhetoric
intro of Humanity

what do you think..?

Is that 19 hours? What is your major? That is an awfully heavy schedule. Lighten it up a bit and you will probably have a much less stressful first semester! Also, the first chem lab is 204, which I am pretty sure you have to have the first chem, 301 as a prerequisite.

What’s your major? Most people take an average of 15 hours and the most you can have is 17 hours, unless you get permission. You’ll probably end up taking Calc (which is 4 hours), physics, physics lab, chem 1, and maybe either rhetoric or humanities, since that will be between 12-15. It’s just your first semester so take it easy so you can get use to the college workload.

I think that’s 18 hours ( which you do need permission to get over 17 hours as kaygar09 stated). Mechanics is pretty damn hard. Take Rhetoric and leave out intro to humanities, because Rhetoric is required. You can always take humanities next semester. Take it easy your first semester in college. After you get used it it, take all the classes you feel like you can handle (that’s what I did). (:
