I was unable to register for a Freshman Seminar this semester and will try again in the Spring. What happens if I bid for a seminar with an alternate and am closed out of either class? Do they assign a seminar? Does one attempt to add one during the add/swap period?

well since you are doing your seminar in the fall and you have to have a freshman seminar, i think that you will be almost guaranteed to get into the class. if you are nervous, put more bid points on the seminar (i put 20 i think and that worked for me).

With about 15 per class, I am concerned that I will end up with a semnar in which I have little interest. I bid a fair number of points on the fall semester and did not receive either. I guess I selected popular seminars.
