Freshman+Sophomore roommates

<p>Hey all,</p>

<p>I'm wondering if there is anyway an incoming Sophomore could dorm with an incoming freshman? As an established student at Rutgers, I had to choose my room and roommate much earlier than my friend. My future freshman friend still has to wait till the summer to receive her dorm information. Is there any way to request her as my roommate and change my situation? If not, maybe it would be possible to ask for a roommate change once the fall semester starts and then request each other as new roommates? Thanks in advance for your answers.</p>

<p>Freshmen have their own housing reserved. All other students have to do the lottery system just to get housing. So probably not, unless you take her in with you. They may allow this. Ask someone on campus.</p>

<p>Why not call housing and ask? Look on the Rutgers website. Put ‘housing’ in the search bar.</p>
