Hi,

I'm currently attending a four-year private university and know that this is not the right place for me.

Hi,

I'm currently attending a four-year private university and know that this is not the right place for me.

From what I’ve seen you probably have a better chance transferring either 2nd year or 3rd year. Depending on the amount of credits you are transferring you might have to go through freshman admissions. Admissions usually want really high gpas from freshmen. It would probably be better to wait.

If your GPA is high then go ahead and do it. You’ll probably be expected to write a few essays and report SAT or ACT scores. You might want to go ahead and get started on it. Some colleges and universities have already had their spring admissions deadline. I hope you aren’t too late for the college you want.

It depends on the transfer policies for the colleges you are interested. Some accept spring and some don’t. If your grades are going to be on a transcript before the deadlines then you can apply. However, your high school work and SAT/ACT scores will weigh more than your college work.
