I'm a freshman trying to fulfill my upper division disciplinary breadth class since my fine arts class that i wanted is full. Would you suggest taking an upper division class? Should freshman stick to lower division courses. I am already enrolled, so what should I expect.

^It honestly depends. I’ve had lower div classes that were harder than upper div ones. I would stay with that class and if it seems too hard, drop it. You might want to have a backup class than you can attend too in case you drop the upper div one but still want to have the same number of classes.

depends on the class. read cape evaluations and reviews. cape will tell you how many hours people spent on a class on average, and how many expect to earn an A, B, C, etc. sometimes upper-division courses are just as easy, even easier, or way harder. so do some research.
