schools applying to: cornell (human ecology), colgate, BC, Bucknell, Lehigh

i think you have very good chances at all of them. NYU is tougher to get into than at least Bucknell and Lehigh, but you are coming from NYU with a high GPA and that will definitely help you out. also, i know someone with lower scores than you who transferred to cornell, and their school was nowhere near as good as NYU.

question though: why did you decide to transfer? I was rejected from NYU early decision, i was very upset and i was convinced that I would end up transferring there anyway (although i am most likely going to mcgill and thrilled about that). so just wondering what exactly it was that made you want to make the switch.

I have decided to transfer out of NYU because I have become disappointed with the quality of community that exists here. With no campus there is really no feeling of a college experience. It is also very big and I've come to realize its just not the environment I am looking for.
