I got a 3.4 taking 15 hours. I'm aiming for about a 3.8 with another 15 next semester. I had a 3.6ish in high school, but high school was reeealy easy, so I dont feel like a 3.4 was a regression at all.

That's what I had my first semester too, 3.4 on 15 hours. (I'm a soph now) Second sem, I had a 3.54 on 13 hours.

I got exactly 4.0 for my first semester in college: A+ for both thermal and quantum physics, A+ for multivariable cal, A for microecon, and A for a really stupid speech comm. class, total 17 hours. Next semester is gonna be a lot tougher though.

3.93 w/ 17 Units, w/ 1 A+ in chem, which was nice

3.44 14 credits freshman

Worst case scenario is that I get a 3.0 (C in chem and if I get a B in poetry, which shouldn't happen) with 17 credit hours; what is more probable is that I get a 3.17. Either way it means I go on probation for my scholarship because I need to keep a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2. Shouldn't be too hard to get back on track, my schedule next semester allows me more time to sleep and get work done during the day, and the classes are generally more interesting and fun.

2.5, withdrawal from school FTW!

3.1, engineering

3.62 with 15 credits

3.6 with 16 credits

3.958 with 18 credits.

3.92 with 15 hours -I was thrilled!!

CMS 306M PROFESSNL COMMUNICATION SKILLS........ A
GOV 310L AMERICAN GOVERNMENT.............. A
PHL 304 CONTEMPORARY MORAL PROBLEMS....... A
PSY 301 INTRODUCTION TO PSYCHOLOGY........... A
M 408D SEQ, SERIES, AND MULTIVAR CALC....... A

GPA Total: 4.0000 on 16 hours......meh, I hope I can get into BHP at UT next semester...one more semester of busting my ass for this. To bad neither of my parents were thrilled.

3.64, 16 credits. I've got to keep a 3.25 GPA for my scholarship, which I was initially somewhat worried about, but at least I've got a good start.

grandpabuzz, your parents weren't excited about that??? I'm so sorry, really. My mom is thrilled that I got a 3.6 and made the Dean's List. I think she would have heart attack if I got a 4.0. That's what I'm shooting for next semester, so we'll see what actually happens. But you have every right to be excited about that 4.0. Great job! :)

3.5 on 12 credits. I'm thinking I have a real comfortable cushion coming up senior year.

4.0..should be helpful once i get deeper into EE

3.7-3.8 in High school 3.6 in college. It's not too bad I suppose. I just screwed up in one of my classes.. oh well ^_^;;My major GPA's good right now though...and I got A's in classes I didn't think i would get A's from heh. This is my first semester by the way... 16 credits

what school are you at peck191?

I'm still waiting for all my grades to come in but my school's site has a gpa calculator so I should be around 3.86. That was with 17 credits. Was kind of surprised with some of the curves these classes have. Btw, I go to a Large state school so probably I need a high gpa to equal out a lower one in better places. Still my school ranked in the Top 100 (though more towards the bottom end )
