<p>The most important thing in transferring is your grades. If you’re sacrificing grades over units per semester because of other responsibilities(such as family and jobs) you should really consider your strategy. The most MOST important thing in transferring to a UCLA UCB etc is your gpa, which means you should always aim at having the highest gpa possible in transferable courses, which COULD mean to take less units per semester, even if it means only going part time to school. Your outside responsibilities won’t justify poor grades especially when they’re comparing you to those who are close to a 3.6+ gpa.</p>
