next year i am going to Eastern Conneticut State Univeristy, a liberal arts college in CT. I only plan on going for a year or two.. i wanted to get a college expereince by living away from home and getting my basic classes out of the way bc i am undecided. My q is that what classes should i take that are easy to transfer and are "basic" for any colllege.

College Composition/English, Math (generally above pre-calc), Science with Lab, and different social science/humanities/fine arts courses depending on your intended major. Also a foreign language, depending on your major.

You should check on the websites you are applying to. NYU, for example, has a list of prerequisites that they want every student to have.

It really depends on your state, and what universities you plan to transfer to.

Generally speaking, general education classes like the two English compositions and some humanities courses are usually transferable.
