Freshman Year Ignored?

What are some of the colleges and universities that remove the freshman year grades when they recalculate GPA's? I know that UMich does that, but I also heard that there were others...any idea?

Thanks! =)

There are quite a few threads like this. Do a search.

Stanford, the UCs, I believe. I'm probably wrong, though.

UChicago as well, if you're into LAN parties and asexuality.

u mich ann arbor

Every single UC school excludes freshmen year grades, UCs only check 10th and 11th grade for admissions. As for other schools, I believe that most schools don't check freshmen, besides some of the top ivies.

I have heard that Princeton ignores grades from freshman year.

^ no............

Does UF do that?

This thread mentioned that Princeton ignored freshman grades

I heard that Stanford will not be ignoring freshman grades. Someone on CC mentioned that they're just taking the GPA provided by the HS from now on. Correct me if I'm wrong...

Stanford will start considering freshman grades for the class of 2012.
Princeton is unclear...no one really knows.
